Online Gaming, An Embarrassment to Human Interaction?

The days when you got your mother’s permission to have a few people in your house to keep standing in your room and crush the koopas and get as many lives as possible are long gone.

The world of games has transformed into the virtual world. If a game doesn’t have online play, that’s an oddity. Almost all games produced today are geared towards the demand of online competition. Most people would agree with me when I say that the story mode of a certain game is second to making online play the big promotion of the game. It seems like every time you walk into a store that primarily sells games, the main focus and big boost of marketing is how big the online game is. What happened to the days of meeting friends and having fun trying to beat a game? UFABET 999

The social interaction of online gaming is great, but it’s just a front. There is no real face-to-face interaction between players. It seems to me that the advent of online gaming has ruined people’s social interaction. Instead of meeting people to do something in real life, I can sit at home and pretend to meet people who enjoy me. People think that bringing people together in a virtual arcade and playing Uno is a social interaction.

We get real people, it’s a long way from having a tangible relationship with people. Online games have turned people into hermits who only come out to go to work and get food. It made people devoid of any real human interaction. People can be themselves behind the mask of an avatar. It is really sad. I see it in so many people. Rather than go out and enjoy life, enjoy nature, they would rather stay inside with curtains attached to the window frame, with savory snacks on hand, and enjoy hidden virtual nature within a video game. This has led people to believe that 1s and 0s are the real world.
